Holland Park, London | Live-out Nanny Sought | July 2026

A warm and welcoming family based in Holland Park is seeking an experienced, nurturing live-out nanny to join them in July 2026.

A warm and welcoming family based in Holland Park is seeking an experienced, nurturing live-out nanny to join them in July 2026.

The nanny will be caring for the family's first child, a baby girl born in March 2026. The family has been supported by a maternity nurse known to the agency, since her birth and is now looking for a nanny who can provide continuity of care and confidently guide their daughter through the next stage of her early development.

In her daily role, the nanny will take full responsibility for the child's wellbeing and development, supporting her physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth in a calm, attentive, and stimulating environment. At this early stage, the focus will be on key developmental milestones such as tummy time, rolling, reaching, and grasping, as well as encouraging sensory exploration through age-appropriate play. The nanny will actively engage with the baby through talking, singing, and reading, helping to foster early communication skills and secure attachment, while ensuring that feeding and sleep routines are consistently followed and gently adapted as the baby grows.

The role includes all aspects of childcare, such as overseeing the baby's daily routine, preparing bottles and later supporting the introduction of solids, bathing and dressing, organising outings and walks, and, when appropriate, attending local baby groups or arranging playdates in the future. The nanny will keep the child's areas tidy and organised and remain attentive to her developmental progress, adapting activities to support each stage. This is a fully child-focused role; the nanny will not be responsible for the parents' needs or general household upkeep.

The family's main priority is to ensure their baby is happy, well cared for, and able to enjoy quality, engaging time throughout the week.

The nanny will work 10 hours per day, five days per week (50 hours total), from Tuesday to Saturday (9:30am to 7:30pm or 10am to 8pm).

Two consecutive days off will always be provided. Some flexibility will be appreciated on both sides, for example occasional adjustments to start or finish times due to personal commitments, while maintaining the guaranteed 50 hours per week.
Occasional babysitting will be required and paid additionally.

The family would appreciate flexibility for occasional short trips within Europe. While the mother's family is based in the US, the nanny will not be required to travel there. Future international travel may arise, but currently the family tends to travel within Europe (e.g. Spain) twice a year for a few days.

The parents speak several languages; however, English is the primary language spoken at home, and the nanny must have a good command of English.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience caring for young infants and demonstrate a confident, gentle, and proactive approach.

The family is seeking a long-term commitment.

PLACED | Paris 16th | English-Speaking Nanny | Immediate / Flexible Start

A French-speaking family living in the 16th arrondissement of Paris is looking for a weekend English-speaking nanny to support them in raising their almost 9-year-old twins, who have been attending Franklin since kindergarten.

A French-speaking family living in the 16th arrondissement of Paris is looking for a weekend English-speaking nanny to support them in raising their almost 9-year-old twins, who have been attending Franklin since kindergarten.

Both parents hold demanding positions and require full coverage during weekends.

The family currently employs two French-speaking nannies. One has been with the family since the children’s birth and will continue to work during the week. The second nanny takes care of the children over long weekends and has been with the family for 3 years. She will soon be leaving her position for personal reasons, so the family wishes to begin interviews as soon as possible to replace her.

The children have limited knowledge of English, and the family would like to address this by hiring an English-speaking nanny, ideally bilingual or with a good level of French, who can support them in learning English.

There will be no French homework to do with the children. A tutor comes twice a week.
The nanny will work as follows: she will start at 4:30 pm on Thursday at school pick-up and will work until Monday morning at 8:30 am, when she will drop the children off at school.

During the night, she will be on call and will stay at the family home. A bedroom is available for her on the upper floor.
If the nanny does not have accommodation in Paris, the family is willing to provide a studio room during the week.

During her working hours, the nanny will be responsible for the children’s safety and well-being, as well as accompanying them to their various activities. On Saturdays, one child does dance while the other has chess and football. On Sundays, the whole family plays tennis. Meals are taken at home or at restaurants together. The nanny will prepare the children’s meals or reheat what the housekeeper has prepared. It would be appreciated if she could do the same for the parents.
The family is looking for a nanny who is kind and caring with the children, who “are not always angels.” The parents describe themselves as “very family-oriented,” and the staff are very attached to the family.

Exceptionally, if the nanny needs a day off during the weekend for personal reasons, the family will be flexible in arranging cover.

Please note that only native English-speaking candidates with a European passport or already holding the right to work in France will be considered.

PLACED | Isle sur la Sorgue, Provence | English-speaking Nanny | March / April 2026

A friendly family, well known to the agency and for whom we have placed two nannies, is looking for an English-speaking nanny to join them from mid-February 2026.

A friendly family, well known to the agency and for whom we have placed two nannies, is looking for an English-speaking nanny to join them in March / April 2026.

The family consists of both parents and two young boys. The eldest is 6 years old and attends the final year of nursery school. The youngest, aged 3, attends the first year of nursery school.

A French-speaking tutor comes for a few hours per week to help the eldest with his homework and with learning to read in French.

The schedule during school weeks will be as follows:

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays the nanny will start work at 15:30 with a visit to the family home to prepare the evening activities, review the meal prepared by the housekeeper, check the playroom / tidying up, prepare the pyjamas for after bath time, etc. The aim for the family is to be perfectly organised so that when the nanny collects the children at 16:30 she can be fully dedicated to them until the evening.
One of the parents is often available from 19:00 to take over.

Wednesdays: 8:30 – 19:00: during the day, one of the parents takes care of one of the children if they need to go to an activity while the other child goes to another activity with the nanny.

Two babysittings during the week (excluding weekends) are included, but will rarely be used.

Saturdays: 8:30 – 13:00

As the nanny does not resume work until 15:30 on Monday, despite working on Saturday morning she has 48 consecutive hours of rest.

The schedule during school holiday weeks will be as follows:

Monday to Friday: 8:30 – 19:00

During the holidays, the nanny looks after both children on her own. However, everything is organised so that things run smoothly. For example, on Wednesdays the father takes the eldest to his English class at 9:00 and waits for him until 9:45. The father also takes him to his BMX lesson from 10:00 to 11:00. The nanny then takes the youngest to the BMX lesson which starts at 11:00 and at that moment collects the eldest to bring him home. The father attends the youngest’s lesson and then brings him home where he joins his brother. They have lunch together. In the afternoon, the mother collects the eldest around 15:00 for his handball lesson, while the youngest goes to the media library with the nanny. At the end of the handball lesson, the mother drops the eldest at the media library with the nanny and his brother. The idea is always that the boys have the most pleasant schedule possible. Another example: on Mondays, the nanny collects both boys and takes care of them until 17:30. At that point, the nanny drops the eldest at his English lesson and returns home with the youngest. The father collects him at the end of his lesson and brings him home. In this example, the aim is to avoid the youngest having to get back into the car unnecessarily, especially if he is busy with an activity with his nanny.

Nanny profile and responsibilities:

Since the children were very young, English-speaking nannies have been employed. Therefore, the family would like to continue with this arrangement. The nanny will speak only English to the children.

The nanny must have a team spirit and work alongside both parents, who are very involved in the upbringing of their two children.
A housekeeper, who takes care of maintaining the home and cooking for the family, including the children, is employed full time. The nanny is not responsible for any domestic duties.

It is essential that the nanny is a driver. A car with automatic transmission is provided for her, both during working hours and at weekends. Petrol is also paid for.

The nanny will be required to accompany the family on holidays.
In winter, the family spends one week skiing. The nanny will have her own studio not far from the hotel where the family stays. The opportunity to ski at the end of the day with a ski instructor will be offered to her.

In summer, three weeks are spent in Corsica. The family generally asks the nanny to accompany them for a maximum of two weeks. The first week of the holidays is spent with the family only.

The nanny is entitled to 5 weeks of paid holiday per year. The parents are quite flexible regarding the nanny’s holidays. They always try to coordinate them as well as possible together with the nanny. The nanny is asked to avoid taking more than two consecutive weeks of holiday.

The salary offered is €3,500 if the nanny has her own accommodation.
For a live-in position, the salary offered is €3,200 net per month and the family provides a lovely fully equipped 80m² cottage with a garden for the nanny’s use.

Please note that only EU passport holders or candidates who already have the right to work in France will be considered.
