An American family, based in Boulogne for the past two years, is looking for a bilingual temporary nanny to care for their two children.
The eldest child, a little girl aged 3.5 years, attends school from 8:20 am to 5:30/6:00 pm. The youngest child, a little boy, was born in October 2025.
The family will be moving back to the USA in the summer and is therefore seeking a temporary nanny from 9 March to 1 July 2026 (approximately four months).
The father is currently employed and works from home two days per week. The mother will return to work in March 2026.
The family is looking for a bilingual nanny.
Ideally, the nanny will work Monday to Friday, from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm. The family is happy to compensate 50 hours per week and may schedule babysitting hours (not on Fridays or Saturdays) to make use of the additional hours.
In the mornings, the nanny will supervise the baby’s routine while the father drops the little girl off at school. The nanny will care for the little boy throughout the day. She will be responsible for the children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, promoting a happy, caring, and stimulating environment in which the children can thrive. She will also encourage their education, knowledge, and early development.
Duties include nursery duties, encompassing all aspects of childcare such as overseeing daily activities, organising playdates, preparing the children’s meals, bathing, keeping the children’s bedrooms tidy, and any other related childcare responsibilities.
The family does not require the nanny to accompany them on holiday; however, the nanny will be paid during the family’s absences.
The position is offered on a live-out basis.
The family has a Border Collie, who is cared for by a dog walker.
The family also employs a housekeeper.
Salary: 20€ net per hour / 4 300€ net per month
