A warm and welcoming family based in Dubai is seeking an experienced, native English-speaking nanny to support the care and development of their two young children, aged 2 years and 4 months.
Languages
Native-level English is essential. A good knowledge of Arabic would be a strong advantage, as the parents would like their children to be exposed to and gradually learn more Arabic.
Working Schedule
The nanny will work 5 days per week, for approximately 8–10 hours per day (to be confirmed).
Flexibility is important, as the family may occasionally request a few additional hours over the weekend; however, appropriate time off will always be provided.
Location & Driving
Local candidates currently based in Dubai are preferred, as the family would like to meet the nanny in person together with their children.
Being a confident driver would be a bonus, though it is not essential.
Personality & Approach
The family is looking for a nanny who is gentle, kind, patient, and emotionally responsive. Compassion is essential—particularly when supporting a toddler through moments such as tantrums. The parents are keen to find someone who can remain calm, nurturing, and understanding at all times.
The children are described as sensitive, so experience with and an understanding of highly sensitive children is important. The nanny should be emotionally attuned to their needs and able to provide reassurance and support.
In addition, the family would love someone who is fun, engaging, and playful, someone who enjoys making the children laugh and creating a joyful, positive environment. Building a strong, loving bond with the children is a key priority.
Responsibilities
The nanny will be responsible for planning and leading daily activities that are both fun and educational, tailored to each child’s age and developmental stage. This includes creating a simple daily curriculum and supporting early learning, such as teaching the alphabet and other foundational skills, while ensuring activities remain enjoyable and age-appropriate.
Salary:
£23 net per hour.
For an 10 hours a day, 5 days a week position this equals to a monthly net salary of £5,000.
