Nice, France | Experienced Nanny | August 2025
A family of young professional parents with two little boys, currently aged 3 years and 3 months (born in March 2025), is looking for a nanny to assist them daily.
For professional reasons, the family is based in Nice in a home with a garden and pool.
The father frequently travels for work (notably on weekends and Wednesdays).
The mother also works professionally in the field of psychology.
The older child will attend school full‑time in September 2025. The school is nearby.
Each morning, one of the parents or the nanny will drop off the older child at school, and the nanny will pick him up around 4 pm.
During the day, the nanny will take care of the baby. Afterwards, she will collect his big brother at school, with the baby in tow.
Schedule:
Monday: Not working
Tuesday: Not working
Wednesday: 8 am – 8 pm
Thursday: 8 am – 8 pm
Friday: 8 am – 8 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 9 pm
Sunday: 9 am – 8 pm
Weekends will always be worked except in exceptional cases.
The nanny will be able to stay overnight when finishing too late. A separate bedroom will be provided to the nanny.
The nanny will be responsible for organizing varied and playful activities to stimulate the children’s development, going to the park, managing their daily lives (making appointments, taking them to activities, shopping for their needs, etc.), taking care of their clothing, their rooms, and tidying their living spaces. She will also prepare their meals, give baths, etc.
The family would like the nanny to accompany them on holiday for two weeks in June.
The nanny is entitled to five weeks of paid leave: two weeks at Christmas and three weeks in August.
It is essential that the nanny is a driver and a strong swimmer.
This is an external hire.
A housekeeper is employed by the family.
The family also has a small, very calm and friendly Pomsky dog.
Salary: €4,500 net per month
Please note that only candidates who hold an EU passport or already have the right to work in France will be considered for this position.
