A VIP family based in Asia is seeking a highly experienced, native English-speaking rota nanny to join their established childcare team.
The family has two children: a 5-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl, both of whom attend school (exact hours to be confirmed). The children also participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, including cricket, judo, swimming, and gymnastics for the boy, and ballet, gymnastics, and swimming for the girl.
The family travels frequently, including regular trips to London and other international holiday destinations, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are essential.
The Role
The successful candidate will work on a 1 month on / 1 month off rota, alongside a team of experienced, native English-speaking nannies. There are currently five nannies employed, and the family is now looking to add a sixth. Two nannies are always on duty, with a third joining during travel periods.
The team is well-established and works harmoniously together. One of the current nannies was placed by Nannies Incorporated and has been with the family for several years.
Working hours are 12 hours per day (8:30am - 8:30pm). Night duties are not required, as two night nurses are employed to oversee evenings, bedtime, and overnight care.
Responsibilities
The role focuses on providing consistent, nurturing, and developmentally supportive daytime care.
Duties include:
· Delivering attentive, emotionally secure, and structured day-to-day care, while encouraging age-appropriate independence
· Supporting the children with dressing, personal hygiene, and daily routines, promoting self-sufficiency through guidance rather than direct intervention
· Acting as a calm, stable, and reassuring presence, supporting emotional regulation, positive behaviour, and healthy sibling relationships
· Using gentle discipline, clear boundaries, and respectful communication
· Accompanying the children to classes, social events, and activities, encouraging participation and independence
· Engaging the children in reading, play, and physical activity throughout the day
· Following activity plans prepared by the admin & activity support nanny
· This role complements the wider childcare team. Night nurses retain responsibility for nights, meals, morning routines, bedtime, and medical care.
Additional Information
The nannies are not responsible for laundry, meal preparation, or cleaning
A long-standing driver transports nannies to and from the family home each day
The family is known for being warm, respectful, and accommodating; rota flexibility can occasionally be adjusted with prior coordination
