A French/Saudi family based in Jeddah is seeking a warm and collaborative nanny for their first child, a baby boy due end of February 2026. Both parents speak English, French, and Arabic and would like to find a French and Arabic speaking nanny.
As first-time parents, they wish to be very hands-on while also benefiting from the guidance and support of a nanny with previous experience caring for babies. They would like the nanny to join them from the end of January 2026 to allow time to finalise the nursery and be prepared in case baby arrives early. This is quite far in the future, but the family would like to begin their search now to be prepared for their new arrival.
Working Hours: Around 50 hours per week, the family would appreciate some flexibility, but the nanny will work across 6 days with one full day off per week.
Duties: The nanny will focus on the daily care, development, and wellbeing of the baby, with a strong emphasis on supporting his Arabic and French language development. As he will be newborn when the position begins there will be a good deal of mother's help duties including supporting mum in her breastfeeding journey and with her recovery post birth. As baby grows older a candidate who has good experience with weaning babies onto solid food and cooking healthy food is a strong plus. Along with devising fun, educational activities to help baby meet his milestones and explore language acquisition as he grows.
This is a staffed household but a candidate who is happy to cook will be well thought of along with someone who has a driver's license. Currently the family have a driver but this would be considered a plus.
The family home has a pool so a nanny who can swim is needed. The family also have 3 small dogs so someone who is comfortable.
Salary: A competitive salary of £1100+ per week is bearing offered depending on experience.
Accommodation: Separate accommodation is being provided nearby to the family home. The family will also offer one annual return flight home for the nanny per year, medical insurance and a car and fuel allowance if applicable.
Travel: The nanny will accompany the family on trips within Saudi Arabia and internationally. Each summer, the family expects to spend around 3 weeks in France/Europe, starting with a wedding in June 2026.
The family is seeking a nanny who is experienced, confident, and proactive and also able to provide structure and routine for their little one.
