Malta | Full Time Nanny Sought | ASAP/Flexible Start Date
A friendly family, based in Malta, are searching for a friendly nanny to join them in caring for their little boy, who is currently 9 months old.
Both parents work from home.
Start Date: ASAP or flexible for the right candidate
Working Hours: 5 days per week, 8.30am-8.30pm.
Duties: Focussing on baby's development and transition into toddlerhood the successful candidate will have experience devising fun, educational activities that encourage the development of key skills. They will have experience with adjusting baby's nap schedule as he grows, along with potty training, encouraging language acquisition and fostering intellectual curiosity in toddlers too. The family follow an early introduction approach to allergenic foods and would like their nanny to keep this in mind and be able to follow the allergen requirements set out by their paediatrician. Cooking healthy meals for baby is therefore required too along with good knowledge of the next stages of weaning onto solid foods.
Nursery duties: keeping baby’s clothes, towels, muslins, bed-sheets, blankets etc clean, keeping nappy changing stations prepared, keeping baby’s room & cupboards organised and tidy, regularly sterilising all bottles, pumps & other items (e.g. teething toys), do baby's laundry & ironing as needed, keeping the kitchen and living areas tidy after baby play.
A nanny who speaks Spanish or Mandarin fluently, has a driving license and is happy to assist with research into pre-schools and their requirements when the time comes will be thought of highly.
Travel: The family do need to travel frequently for work conferences or for vacations and would like their nanny to accompany them.
Accommodation: The family provide a one-bedroom apartment, near to the family home, for the nanny's use.
Salary: £800 minimum net per week negotiable, dependent on experience and qualifications of the nanny.
