Dubai | Live-in Governess / Companion Sought | ASAP Start Date
A warm international family is seeking an energetic, positive Governess/Companion to support their 15-year-old son who lives full-time in Dubai. This is not a nanny or tutor role—it's a companionship and guidance position for a bright, sensitive teenage boy.
Work Pattern: available to support across 24 hours, 6 days per week. The teenager attends school from 8am - 2pm on weekdays during which time the companion will have daily breaks, a 2 hour break will be provided on weekend days also.
Accommodation: Private double bedroom
Duties:
Accompany him to/from school (8am–2pm, weekdays)
Organise and take part in activities, hobbies, outings and exercise
Provide companionship: conversation, joining in with playing games (a robolox mini game and FIFA are enjoyed in particular) along with encouraging and supporting his homework completion.
Accompany him to appointments and extracurricular activities
Live-in support within a fully staffed household (gym & pool on site)
The Ideal Candidate:
Warm, friendly, active, and confident with teenagers
Fluent English; culturally aware and adaptable. German or Farsi language skills are a plus
Positive role model with a calm, supportive approach
Previous experience with teenagers in a childcare/companion/governess role.
Previous experience with ADHD and with managing screen time balance for older children.
Previous experience encouraging good manners and encouraging a teenager to adapt a good daily routine.
