Amman, Jordan | Highly Experienced Maternity Nurse Sought | June 2026 Start Date


A very high-profile family, known to the Agency, are seeking a senior and highly experienced maternity nurse to provide expert newborn care following the arrival of their baby in June 2026.

Placement for up to six months, with some flexibility around the exact length of the placement to be agreed nearer the start date.

This role is suited to a confident maternity nurse who is able to deliver continuous, high-quality care throughout the early postnatal period.

The maternity nurse will work in close partnership with the parents and collaboratively with the family’s nanny, within a fully staffed / formal household that values professionalism, discretion, and excellence in childcare.

Working Schedule & Accommodation
The position requires 24-hour care, seven days per week.

5/6 hours break a day will be given.

During working hours, the maternity nurse will share a room with the baby to ensure constant supervision and responsive care.

When off duty, the candidate will have access to a separate private unit within the residence, providing appropriate space for rest and personal time.

Responsibilities
The maternity nurse will take full responsibility for the newborn’s day-to-day care, both during the day and overnight.

This includes managing feeding routines, undertaking night feeds as required, supporting healthy sleep habits, and encouraging early developmental progress. The role also involves closely monitoring the baby’s physical health and wellbeing, administering medication when authorised by the parents, and accompanying the baby to medical appointments if needed.

In addition, the maternity nurse will maintain open and consistent communication with the parents, ensuring they are kept fully informed of all aspects of their baby’s care. The position may require travel with the family, and the candidate must be comfortable preparing for and supporting the baby during travel periods.

Responsibility for the organisation, cleanliness, and maintenance of all baby-related items and equipment, including bottles, sterilisers, prams, and car seats, will also form an integral part of the role. Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation within the baby’s environment and provided accommodation is essential.

Candidate Profile
The maternity nurse must have extensive experience working as a maternity nurse with impeccable written references. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability at all times.

Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to travel are essential for this role.

Salary
A salary of £400/£500 per 24-hour worked is offered.
