Vienna & Jersey | Maternity Nurse Sought | November Start Date
A welcoming family, based permanently in Jersey, are searching for an experienced and warm maternity nurse to join them in caring for their second child due mid-November. The baby will be born in Vienna and the family will remain there for the initial 4 weeks after the birth.
The family also have a 7 year old daughter.
Start Date: 14th November
Length of Booking: 4 weeks
Working Hours: 24/6 with a generous 5 or 6 hour break provided daily.
Duties: Caring for baby and mum after birth, mum is due to have a scheduled c-section all going well. The maternity nurse will assist with mum's feeding goals, take a good approach to routine and be comfortable encouraging positive sleep associations. A maternity nurse who has experience with babies who may have allergies would be well thought of as the family's eldest showed sensitivity to some foods in mum's breastmilk whilst very small. Someone experienced with sterilizing bottles, warming breastmilk and assisting with breastfeeding/pumping support is also appreciated.
Accommodation: The family are happy to provide separate accommodation nearby to their accommodation in central Vienna.
Salary: €400+ per 24 hours dependent on experience and qualifications.
This is an excellent position for a gentle, hardworking maternity nurse, happy to consider a shorter booking in Europe.
