Milan, Italy | 3 Month Maternity Nurse Booking | July 2025 Start Date
A friendly expat family of 3, soon to be 4, based in central Milan are searching for a maternity nurse to assist with the care of their new baby due at the end of July 2025.
The family's eldest son is 2 years old.
The family speak English at home but their son also speaks excellent Italian. An English speaker is needed but some Italian would be a plus.
Mum is due to be either induced or scheduled for a c-section on the 20th July.
Start date: 20th July
Length of Booking 2-3 months
Working Hours: 24/6 with a 4 hour consecutive break provided daily for the maternity nurse to rest or sleep.
Duties: All aspects of assisting with the care of baby including changing baby, settling baby for sleeps, putting baby on a good feeding and sleeping schedule, assisting with feeding baby or advising and assisting mum with establishing breastfeeding and bathing baby. Maternity nurse will also support mum in her recovery, ensuring she has enough rest, eats well and stays hydrated and support her feeding journey. A maternity nurse who is happy to include the older child and supporting the bond between the children will be greatly appreciated. The family is easy-going and would appreciate a calm, efficient and adaptable maternity nurse.
Travel: Some travel is possible likely to the lakes or to Switzerland when mum and baby feel ready for it.
Accommodation: A separate bedroom and bathroom are provided for the maternity nurse's use
Salary: Rates around the £350 per 24 hours marked will be considered.
This is a lovely summer booking for a calm, experienced and flexible maternity nurse who is happy to work in Italy.
