A warm and welcoming family based in Dubai is seeking a highly experienced and nurturing Maternity Nurse to provide dedicated support for their 1st baby who is due early November. The ideal candidate will be calm, discreet, and confident in all aspects of newborn care, with a gentle and supportive approach to help guide the parents through the early stages of their baby’s development.

Length of Booking: 6 months

Working Hours: 24/6 (at least 4 hours consecutive break will be provided every working day)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24-hour care (with adequate rest breaks) for the newborn, ensuring all needs are met with a focus on health, safety, and development

  • Support the parents with feeding (breast and/or bottle), winding, settling, and general baby care

  • Care for mother and baby in the post natal period.

  • Implement and maintain good sleep and feeding routines tailored to the family's preferences

  • Keep a daily log of feeding, sleeping, and developmental milestones

  • Offer guidance on baby-related matters, including sleep, hygiene, and general wellbeing

  • Ensure the baby’s room and belongings are always clean and well-organized

  • Respect the family’s privacy and home environment, maintaining professionalism at all times

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maternity Nurse or in a similar newborn care role

  • Recognised maternity nursing qualification (e.g. MNT, NEST, or equivalent)

  • Up-to-date paediatric first aid certification

  • Excellent references from previous families

  • Previous international or Middle East experience is preferred

  • Kind, flexible, and respectful with excellent communication skills

  • Fluent English speaker

Additional Information:

  • Travel and visa arrangements will be handled by the family

  • A private room will be provided within the family’s home or accommodation

  • Daily rates of around £400 per 24 hours will be considered.

  • This is a shared charge role, the parents are hands-on and looking for a collaborative relationship.
