Fiesole, Italy | Full Time Nanny Sought | End of September Start Date
A welcoming Franco-American family based in Fiesole (near Florence) are searching for a nanny to assist them with the care of their two children aged 7 and 2 years old. Their eldest attends school full time.
The parents are excited to welcome their 3rd child mid-September. Mum will be on maternity leave and caring for baby herself and nanny's focus will be on the eldest two children for now.
Working Hours: 60 hours per week.
Start Date: End of September
Duties: The nanny's duties include, helping prepare the children for their days, focussing on the care of the 2-year-old mostly throughout the day and caring for the eldest too during after school hours. The successful candidate will be able to combine educationally focussed activities with physical activities, spending lots of time outside and devising fun, educational activities for the children to help them reach their developmental goals. The family appreciate healthy living and a nanny who can encourage good habits in this respect is appreciated.
The house is staffed but the family appreciate a nanny who can assist with keeping the children's areas tidy and be happy to help with children related nursery duties as needed.
Languages: The family speak French, English and Italian fluently. Someone who can speak fluent English is a must, additional language skills in French and Italian would be a bonus.
Pets: The family have one dog, an Italian Greyhound.
Accommodation: A separate, private bedroom in a staff house around 3 minutes away from the family's home is provided.
Salary: A competitive salary starting at €1,200 net per week is being offered.
The right to work in the EU is required for this position.
