PLACED | Divonne-les-Bains, France | Temporary Live In Nanny Required | Early August Start Date
A caring family who we have worked with before, based in Divonne-les-Bains, France, is seeking an experienced and nurturing live-in temporary nanny to care for their son, who will be 13 months old at the start of the placement. This is a 9-week role ideal for a professional nanny with a strong interest in early childhood development, routine, and sleep support.
Role Details:
Working Hours: 24 hours per day, 6 days per week (the little boy sleeps through the night consistently)
Child: One boy, 13 months old
Start Date: August 6th, 2025
End Date: October 10th, 2025
Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom provided
Salary: €400 per 24 hours worked
Responsibilities:
Providing attentive, developmentally-focused care for the baby
Supporting and following the established daily routine, including naps, meals, and play
Assisting with ongoing sleep training, in line with parental preferences
Planning age-appropriate, stimulating activities to encourage developmental milestones
Preparing simple meals and snacks for the child
Light nursery duties (e.g., tidying toys, baby laundry, keeping feeding and sleep areas clean)
Communicating clearly and regularly with the parents about the child’s progress and needs
Candidate Requirements:
Fluent in French and English
Experience caring for babies aged 1 year, ideally in a 24-hour or travel role
Happy to accompany the family on a 2-week trip to Portugal in August.
Strong understanding of early childhood development and adapting routines as needed.
Gentle, engaging, and responsive caregiving approach
Previous experience in fully staffed or international households a plus
Valid EU passport or right to work in France preferred
