A warm and welcoming family based in Istanbul, Türkiye are looking for a highly experienced English-speaking nanny to help them care for their 15-month-old little girl.
This is not a sole-charge position; the nanny will work closely with the mother, who is a stay-at-home mother, in a respectful, fully involved caregiving environment.
The nanny will be working 10 hours a day, 6 days a week (60 hours per week). Exact working hours to be confirmed. For the right candidate, the family is willing to offer a couple hours of break per day, so that she can rest and have her own activities (errands, go to the gym etc.). Of course, the nanny should be flexible and prepared to cancel her time off if circumstances change.
The family travels a couple of time a year. The nanny will sometimes have to accompany the family.
The family would prefer the nanny to be able to travel to the USA, the UK and within the European Union.
The ideal candidate is a career nanny with a calm, nurturing presence and a collaborative mindset. The family values adaptability, clear communication, and a strong understanding of infant care and development.
The nanny will be responsible for assisting the mother with all aspects of baby care, provide a stimulating, age-appropriate activities and play, maintain cleanliness of the nursery and baby's items, accompany the mother on outings or appointments as needed etc.
The position is offered on a live-in basis. The nanny will have access to a private ensuite room, living room and kitchenette on a separate floor from the parent’s flat.
The nanny will also have access to the gym and swimming pool within the complex.
This is a fully staffed household; the nanny's focus will be solely on the baby and support for the mother. The family employs housekeepers and a driver.
Work permit matters will be dealt with by the family.
The family offers a monthly net salary of €6,500.
The chosen candidate will also be offered a sign-on bonus payment of €6,500 after successfully completing a 2-week trial.

The oldest daughter attends a very prestigious Turkish school and the youngest one goes to kindergarten, where English is also taught. Just like in Europe, the little girls go to school 36 weeks per year.
Both of them are bilingual in Turkish and English.
However, the 8-year-old has recently expressed the wish to learn French. Therefore, the parents are looking for the adequate French-speaking nanny/tutor.
The primary care will be the 8-year-old little girl. However, the nanny/tutor will also be looking after and teaching the 4-year-old.
No one in the family speaks French. Therefore, the nanny/tutor must be fluent in English.
The nanny/tutor must be willing to offer French classes to the mother if needed/wanted.
The father is a renowned lawyer, while the mother is a stay-at-home mum, very involved and hands-on in the little’s girls life an education.
Both little girls are very active children who play the piano, go to the ballet, to the gym, play theatre, and enjoy going to birthday parties.
They are also very artistic and have their own playroom to do arts & crafts, DIY, paintings etc.
On a daily basis, the nanny/tutor will have to teach both little girls French, through academic activities, outdoors activities (museums, playgroups etc.), through play and storytelling. Planning age appropriate and educative activities in French will be a very important part of the nanny/tutor’s duties.
For the past 7 years, the family have employed a Filipina nanny/teacher and another helper to assist with both little girls. They will both keep working alongside the French speaking nanny/tutor.
The nanny/tutor will work 6 days a week. Fridays will be off. However, this is negotiable to 5 days a week for a strong candidate.
Working hours will be: 6am/8pm.
For the right candidate, the family is willing to offer the nanny/tutor will have 2 hours of per day, so she can rest and have her own activities (emails, go to the gym..). Of course, the nanny/ tutor should be flexible and prepared to cancel her time off if circumstances change.
The nanny will not be on duty at night, as the mother will care for the children if needed.
The family often travel to their holiday home in Bodrum, to the EU or to Dubai, and the nanny/tutor will have to accompany them.
During school holidays the nanny/ tutor will be on duty all day long.
The nanny will be offered 5 weeks of paid holidays.
A return flight home will be offered to the nanny/tutor.
The family live in a triplex where nanny can live in her own room. She will be able to use the gym within the building etc. For her days off, the family may offer the nanny/tutor the family driver also to drop off and picking up but the place is very well located in the centre of the city so it would not really be necessary.

The twins attend school from 9am - 3pm during the week.
Working Hours: 12 hours a day, 6 days per week. As both children are going to school, the nanny will have time for herself during the day. Day off will be a weekday.
Duties: Speaking with the children in French to improve their language skills, assisting with readying the children for school, assisting with school drop offs and pickups, taking the children to their afterschool activities, overseeing homework completion, assisting with their dinner, bath and bedtime routines and taking them out and about on the weekends to do educational activities and to learn through play.
This is a fully staffed household but the nanny should be able to assist with the children's laundry if needed and cooking healthy meals for the children when required.
The nanny will have time during the children's school days to prepare for the afternoons and complete any nursery duties.
Travel: The family do travel most school holidays and would like their nanny to accompany them. They travel in Europe, on yachts and to other locations overseas.
Accommodation: A separate double bedroom and shared bathroom will be provided in the staff quarters.
Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications but starting at the €1,200 net per week mark.

Duties: All the usual nanny duties including speaking to, singing and devising activities for the little one, settling her down for her nap, managing her day-to-day care, assisting with feeding her, cooking for her on occasion, assisting with her laundry as required and keeping her spaces tidy and organised.
