Luxembourg | Maternity Nurse | March 2026
A family residing in Luxembourg is seeking an experienced maternity nurse to assist them from the birth of their first child, expected on March 13, 2026.
The young parents wish to benefit from gentle and supportive guidance, while keeping the possibility to care for their baby themselves whenever they wish.
The position is to be filled for a duration of 3 months.
The family speaks fluent French, German, and English. A French-speaking candidate with good knowledge of German will be preferred.
The maternity nurse will work 24 hours a day, 6 nights per week. A 4-hour daily break will be granted to the nurse.
Main responsibilities:
• Assist with breastfeeding or bottle preparation.
• Provide advice and support to the parents.
• Encourage rest to promote a quick recovery for the mother.
• Ensure the baby’s safety and well-being during working hours.
• Handle feeding and establish suitable routines.
• Set up good sleeping habits according to the baby’s age, and encourage stimulation and development.
• Clean and sterilize bottles.
• Keep the baby’s clothes, bedding, and care areas clean, tidy, and perfectly hygienic.
The maternity nurse nurse will share the baby’s room during working hours.
The family has two Shiba Inu dogs. Therefore, it is essential that the candidate feels comfortable around animals.
Please note that only EU passport holders will be considered for this position.
Salary: €380 net per 24 hours worked.
