PLACED | Dubai | German Speaking Teacher Sought for Nanny/Governess Position | ASAP Start Date
A professional family based in Dubai is searching for a German speaking nanny/teacher (male or female) to join them in caring for their son aged 7 years old. The perfect candidate will also have experience managing a family schedule and liaising with other staff.
Start Date: ASAP
Working hours: 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days per week but with some flexibility to work one weekend day (ideally a Saturday) each week.
Duties: A candidate who can oversee both the formal and informal education of a 7 year old boy is sought. This position would particularly suit a teacher with experience teaching children with ADHD. A focus on developing language skills, particularly in German, and tutoring the little boy as needed is required. The family would like their nanny/governess to help their son developmentally, emotionally, physically, and academically. The successful candidate will also be managing the family schedule. This involves liaising with school, attending school events and assisting with school runs. Organizing fun, educational outside activities such as beach days, water park trips, museums, art galleries, theatre visits and sporting activities is also required. Along with helping with the social and cultural development of the little boy, encouraging self-awareness and creativity, and promoting good manners and etiquette.
It is important that the candidate is used to busy households with additional staff and can successfully liaise with and manage communications with drivers, household staff and parents.
Accommodation: the family are happy to assist their chosen candidate with providing separate accommodation and a car for use on and off work.
Salary: around £1,000 - £1,200 npw, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Assistance with securing a visa, 1 round trip home per year and health insurance will also be provided to the successful candidate.
