PLACED | Dubai | German Speaking Teacher Sought for Governor/Governess Position | Flexible Start Date
A professional family based in Dubai is searching for a governor/governess to join them in caring for their son aged 6 years old.
Start Date: Flexible
Working hours: 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days per week but with some flexibility to work one weekend day (ideally a Saturday) each week.
Duties: A governor/governess who can oversee both the formal and informal education of a 6 year old boy is sought. This position would particularly suit a teacher with experience teaching children with ADHD. A focus on developing language skills, particularly in German, and tutoring the little boy as needed is required. The family would like their governor/governess to help their son developmentally, emotionally, physically, and academically. The successful candidate will also be liaising with school, attending school events and assisting with school runs. Organizing fun, educational outside activities such as beach days, water park trips, museums, art galleries, theatre visits and sporting activities is also required. Along with helping with the social and cultural development of the little boy, encouraging self-awareness and creativity, and promoting good manners and etiquette.
Accommodation: the family are happy to assist their governor/governess with providing separate accommodation and a car for their use on and off work.
Salary: £1,000 npw+, dependent on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
Assistance with securing a visa, 1 round trip home per year and health insurance will also be provided to the successful candidate.
