Not sure what type of staff you need? A housekeeper is someone who takes care of the general running of a private household and a nanny-housekeeper is able to help with childcare, as well as the running of your home. Working hours for housekeepers vary based on individual requirements though are typically Monday to Friday from 8am till 6pm. If you require a live-in housekeeper, at minimum she would need to be provided with her own bedroom & bathroom.
Based in Central London, we take our time to carefully screen our housekeepers and pay particular attention when matching housekeepers with households. Our housekeepers will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in private homes, will have been interviewed by our consultants in person and will be thoroughly reference checked.
Housekeeper Duties
Our experienced and trustworthy housekeepers can undertake the following household duties:

General household cleaning duties include dusting, laundry, mopping and hoovering floors and laundering linen

Cleaning silverware

Cooking or preparing meals

Organising wardrobes and cupboards

Running errands, organising the dry cleaning & doing the weekly grocery shop

Answering the door and dealing with contractors and deliveries

Care of children including school runs

Care of household pets

Watering plants
In combination with keeping the house clean and presentable, we also place nanny-housekeepers who can assist in a more hands-on fashion with childcare.
Housekeeper Salaries
Salaries are dependent on the housekeeper’s experience and skillset. Typical salaries for a housekeeper or nann-housekeeper in London are:
Live-in: £400 - £500 + net per week
Daily (live-out): £550 + net per week
Please note that housekeepers are employed by families and you will therefore have to account for their employment and pay relevant tax and NI contributions.
