Inspire a life-long love of theatre by taking your children to the top Paris shows for children. The capital hosts lots of family-friendly shows which often involve audience participation and are shorter than regular productions – so your kids won't be expected to sit still for two hours! Here's our pick of some of the best shows in town for kids.

Peter Pan

Magic soars to the sky this winter, as Peter Pan and Tinker Bell whisk Wendy and her bothers off to Neverland. Let your children join them in a fantastical world of pirates, mermaids and tick-tocking crocodiles where they must help The Lost Boys battle the vilainous Captain Hook. This show is not to be missed! Suitable for little kids and big kids! The perfect family show.  At Bobino until January 2, 2016.

Tchoupi is a children’s haracter created in 1992 by Thierry Courtin. T'choupi is this adorable boy that looks like a penguin. Children like to share with him the daily life situations that arise. In the show, T'choupi wants to organise a birthday surprise for his mum and he must quickly find an idea with the help of his friends Pilou and Lalou!  Building on the success of its DVD and books, your kids can see T’choupi in his musical show full of fun and songs.  At the Casino de Paris until January 2016.

In an enchanted kingdom, Rapunzel, a princess with long, blonde hair is locked in a high tower. Will there be a prince charming to save her from prison and her boredom? The answer, in fact, is yes! The famous Brothers Grimm tale is adapted into a modern spectacle.
