Summary:
Professional Irish/Australian family based in Abu Dhabi are looking for an experienced, caring and proactive Nanny to care for their 11-month old baby girl.
The position is to start in late April when the little girl will be 11 months old and will suit a proactive, independent sole charge nanny who has considerable experience looking after babies and toddlers, ideally in positions in the Middle East/overseas.
It is important that the nanny has an outgoing attitude, uses her initiative and is able to organise activities for the baby, stimulate her development and keep her occupied whilst considering the lifestyle/climate in Abu Dhabi. The nanny also needs to be very caring, supportive and understanding in taking over from Mother who will be returning to work 4 days a week to start with after spending first year with baby at home. Excellent level of English is a must (mother tongue standard ideally); EU/Australian/NZ national preferred due to UAE visa requirements.
Working hours needed will be 5 days a week: Sunday through to Wednesday from app. 7.30/8am to 7/7.30pm; the fifth day may be worked as either a full day or two half days (to be discussed with the nanny). Some babysitting may also be needed (1 or 2 evenings a week; flexible).
Duties will be all standard nursery duties for a toddler, including food preparation (interest and ability to cook healthy meals is a strong preference), arranging activities, play dates, play groups etc. Driver would be preferred but this is not essential.
Accommodation offered is a separate, serviced apartment nearby the family’s accommodation in the centre of Abu Dhabi.
The family are very friendly and down-to-earth and are hoping to find a like-minded nanny to join them and work together as team; this is an excellent opportunity for a professional, dedicated and genuine nanny.
Salary offered will be dependent of experience & qualifications: £500 - £650 per week, negotiable.
